The beds were comfortable and warm.

The room had no sink for the kitchen area, forcing us to use the bathroom wash basin for washing dishes. the bathroom needed extensive redecorating due to damage from a flood, which was quite off-putting. there was a lack of basic amenities, leaving me feeling dissatisfied and uncomfortable throughout my stay.

Cathy was such a chommie, making us feel right at home. The room was nice and spacious, perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring. Plus, the hot water for showers was a blessing after being out and about!

I nearly considered writing a glowing review but was sorely disappointed by the complete disregard for my comfort. A complimentary gesture would’ve been expected for such inconveniences.

the location is perfect, walking distance to all the fun stuff and the unit was way bigger than i thought. the staff were super nice and helped us find our way to the beach. also, the views were pretty cool from the upper floors. really comfy setup for just chilling out after a long day.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the stunning views from the balcony and the cozy setup in the one-bedroom apartment. To unwind, I took advantage of the sunny outdoor patio and the BBQ facilities, which were a nice touch. The bathroom could have used a deeper cleaning, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. I’d definitely recommend it for a chill getaway! 😊

It was just a strong match for resting at all in Taupo with best value for money ratio. The very uncomfortable couch in the lounge really stood out, making it hard to relax. Bring your own snacks since you won't find much in the kitchen.

The kids loved the playground, and we found the location perfect for exploring Taupo's attractions, especially the stunning views over the lake and mountains. We enjoyed a cozy two-bedroom apartment which gave us plenty of space. The nearby hot springs were a hit with the family too!

Staying at the One-Bedroom Apartment was a real treat. The bed was super comfy, and the space was generous—proper kitchen area and even a nice sofa. The water pressure in the shower was like a spa! Plus, it’s just a short walk to the lake and town. Really great value too!

i really enjoyed my stay at mountain view. the two-bedroom unit was spacious, perfect for a family of six. it was just a block back from the lakefront and only two blocks from town. also, the picturesque two mile bay to four mile bay walkway nearby made for a great exercise session with some lovely picnic spots. the staff was friendly, adding to a pleasant experience.

This place is truly a gem! The kitchen amenities were surprisingly well equipped, making our stay comfy, and the owner was incredibly attentive to our needs. Free wifi was a plus.

I recommend it for families

We had a fantastic time enjoying the spaciousness of the two-bedroom apartment, which easily fit my family of six. The views from the upstairs balcony were breathtaking, and having a friendly resident dog around made the kids smile a lot, it added so much warmth to our stay.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.
